Source is the collection journal’s own source for each appearance, read from the current retail build; bosses, quests, recipes, prices and requirements come from the game’s item, journal and quest records.

This is a partial outfit - it fills 6 armor slots, so a full look needs 2 more slots from elsewhere. Every piece is Bind on Pickup, so the appearances have to be earned rather than bought.

1 boss in Magisters' Terrace drop pieces of this set. Each instance below carries its Adventure Guide entry, where its entrance is, and what each boss drops.

Magisters' Terrace

After his defeat in Tempest Keep, Kael'thas Sunstrider publicly revealed his alliance with the ruthless Burning Legion. Intent upon summoning the demon lord Kil'jaeden, Kael'thas has returned to the Isle of Quel'Danas to make the final preparations for his master's arrival.

The entrance is in Isle of Quel'Danas at 61.5, 31.1 (/way #122 61.5 31.1).

Magisters' Terrace entrance

• Selin Fireheart drops 2 pieces of this set (Hands) on Normal, Heroic and Timewalking. Adventure Guide map pin: 42.5, 22.3 on the Magisters' Terrace map. Once a respected captain of Kael'Thas Sunstrider's personal guard, Selin Fireheart has maintained an unswervingly fierce loyalty to his lord while losing his sanity. Selin has been seduced by the demonic energies of the crystals which surround his chamber, and cannot stop from reveling in their vile power. He will slay any who dare approach the Magisters' Terrace and will drink the magic, life, and blood from their dead bodies.

6 pieces of this appearance set also belong to the item set Crusader's Ornamented Battlegear, which carries these bonuses in the game files:

• 4 pieces: Reduces the cooldown of your Hammer of Justice by 10 sec.

The game links 3 other versions to Crusader's Scaled Battlegear, each labelled the way the collection journal labels it. This page is the Reputation Vendors - Red version.

1 other set reuses the 3D models of Crusader's Scaled Battlegear’s head and shoulder, most shared models first:

• Righteous Battleplate (The Burning Crusade, 32 pieces): the same head and shoulder models, recoloured.

Matched in the game files: each piece’s ItemDisplayInfo names its 3D model and texture. The same model with another texture is a recolour. Only pieces with a 3D model of their own (helms, shoulders, cloaks, weapons, shields, off-hands and some belts and robes) can be compared this way; pieces drawn from textures alone are left out.
