    What This Set Covers

This is a complete head-to-toe outfit - it fills 9 armor slots, so it can be worn as a full look with nothing borrowed from another set. Every piece is Bind on Pickup, so the appearances have to be earned rather than bought.

    Set Bonus

5 pieces of this appearance set also belong to the item set Lingering Phantom's Encasement, which carries these bonuses in the game files:

    • 2 pieces (Blood): Heart Strike and Blood Boil deal 20% increased damage and have a 10% chance to grant Vampiric Blood for 5 sec.
    • 2 pieces (Frost): Howling Blast damage increased by 20%. Pillar of Frost calls a Frostwyrm's Fury at 30% effectiveness that cannot Freeze enemies.
    • 2 pieces (Unholy): Death Coil and Epidemic damage increased by 10%. Dark Transformation consumes Master of Death and grants 1% Mastery for each stack for 25 sec.
    • 4 pieces (Blood): When you would gain Vampiric Blood you are infused with Vampiric Strength, granting you 10% Strength for 5 sec. Your Heart Strike and Blood Boil extend the duration of Vampiric Strength by 0.5 sec.
    • 4 pieces (Frost): Frostwyrm's Fury causes enemies hit to take 20% increased damage from your critical strikes for 12 sec.
    • 4 pieces (Unholy): Raise Abomination grants 20 stacks of Master of Death. When Death Coil or Epidemic consumes Sudden Doom gain 1 extra stacks of Master of Death and 10% Mastery for 6 sec.

    Versions and Companion Sets

The game links 1 other version to Obsidian Gladiator's Plate Armor, each labelled the way the collection journal labels it. This page is the Gladiator version.

    Shared Pieces and Appearances

12 pieces share their appearance with items outside this set, each with its own collection source:

    Look-Alike Sets

1 other set reuses the 3D models of Obsidian Gladiator's Plate Armor’s head, shoulder, chest, waist, legs, feet and hands, most shared models first:

Matched in the game files: each piece’s ItemDisplayInfo names its 3D model and texture. The same model with another texture is a recolour. Only pieces with a 3D model of their own (helms, shoulders, cloaks, weapons, shields, off-hands and some belts and robes) can be compared this way; pieces drawn from textures alone are left out.
