Source is the collection journal’s own source for each appearance, read from the current retail build; bosses, quests, recipes, prices and requirements come from the game’s item, journal and quest records.

This is a complete head-to-toe outfit - it fills 8 armor slots, so it can be worn as a full look with nothing borrowed from another set. Every piece is Bind on Pickup, so the appearances have to be earned rather than bought.

1 other set reuses the 3D models of Skyless Scales’s head, shoulder, chest, waist, legs, feet and hands, most shared models first:

• Ensemble: Drakebreaker's Mail Armor (Dragonflight, 9 pieces): the same head, shoulder, chest, waist, legs, feet and hands models, recoloured.

Matched in the game files: each piece’s ItemDisplayInfo names its 3D model and texture. The same model with another texture is a recolour. Only pieces with a 3D model of their own (helms, shoulders, cloaks, weapons, shields, off-hands and some belts and robes) can be compared this way; pieces drawn from textures alone are left out.

Sets from the same content batch with the same class restriction.

Every one of Skyless Scales’s 8 pieces is listed right now on 3 connected realms. On the cheapest of them, Area 52, the whole look costs 413,898g 94s. The same 8 pieces run 549,790g 13s on the dearest of those realms - 1.3x the cheapest, which is why the realm you buy on matters more than the day you buy.

Transmog gear is priced per connected realm, not region-wide, so these totals belong to the realms named and not to your own unless it is one of them. Figures come from our recorded Auction House snapshots and only appear when a realm lists every piece - a partial total would read like the price of the set and would not be.
