PaladinTooltip
A targeted party or raid member is protected from all physical attacks for 6 sec, but during that time they cannot attack or use physical abilities. Players may only have one Hand on them per Paladin at any one time. Once protected, the target cannot be targeted by Divine Shield, Divine Protection, or Hand of Protection again for 2 min. Cannot be targeted on players who have used Avenging Wrath within the last 30 sec.
How it works
Casting it triggers a 1.5 sec global cooldown. Its dispel type is client id 1.
Hand of Protection is built from 2 client effects, applied in this order:
- Effect 1 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 39.
- Effect 2 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 25.
What it does
Hand of Protection is a Holy spell with an instant cast, a range of 30 yards, a 5 min cooldown and effects that last 6 sec. When cast it applies an aura. The client files the whole spell under the invulnerable mechanic.
Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the Wrath of the Lich King client, build 3.80.2.69874. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
