About this Auction House price tracker

Prices come from Blizzard’s own Auction House API, ingested here as snapshots and kept as history. Search any item to see what it is listed at right now, how that price has moved, and which realm is cheapest. Nothing to install, and you do not need to be logged into the game.

WoW prices two kinds of goods differently, and the browser handles both. Commodities (herbs, ore, cloth, enchanting materials, potions and other stackables) share one price across a whole region, so a stack costs the same on every realm in US, EU, KR or TW. Gear, recipes, transmog, mounts and other unique items are priced per realm, which is why the same item can be far cheaper on one server than another. The cheapest realm finder reads exactly that gap.

Source
Blizzard’s Auction House API. No screenshots, no player submissions, no estimates.
Refresh
About once an hour, the interval Blizzard publishes a new snapshot at. Blizzard can change it without notice.
Regions
US, EU, KR and TW.
Realm or region
Commodities are region-wide. Everything else is priced per realm.
Sale fee
The Auction House keeps 5% of a completed sale. Profit on the deals board is shown after that cut.

How often do Auction House prices update?

We pull a fresh snapshot from Blizzard about once an hour, the interval Blizzard currently publishes one at. Between snapshots the page shows the last one ingested, stamped with its age in the status bar.

Why is an item a different price on another realm?

Only non-commodity items (gear, recipes, transmog, mounts, BoEs) are priced per realm, and their supply and demand differ server to server. Commodities are region-wide and identical on every realm in your region.

Where does the price history come from?

Every snapshot ingested is stored, so an item’s price page can plot where its cheapest listing has been rather than only where it is now. Gathering mats are grouped on the herb and material pages.
