Blessing of Protection

Tooltip

A targeted party member is protected from all physical attacks for 8 sec, but during that time they cannot attack or use physical abilities. Players may only have one Blessing on them per Paladin at any one time. Applies Forbearance for 1 min. Cannot be cast while Forbearance is active.

How it works

Each cast of Blessing of Protection costs 45 Mana. Casting it triggers a 1.5 sec global cooldown. Its dispel type is client id 1.

Blessing of Protection is built from 2 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 39.
  2. Effect 2 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 25.

What it does

Blessing of Protection is a Holy spell with an instant cast, a range of 30 yards, a 5 min cooldown and effects that last 8 sec. When cast it applies an aura. The client files the whole spell under the invulnerable mechanic.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the WoW Forever beta client, build 1.60.1.70532. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
