Counterspell

Tooltip

Counters the enemy's spellcast, preventing any spell from that school of magic from being cast for 10 sec. Generates a high amount of threat.

How it works

Each cast of Counterspell costs 100 Mana. It does not trigger the global cooldown, so it can be used between other casts.

  1. Effect 1 is Interrupt Cast (effect type 68).

What it does

Counterspell is an Arcane spell with an instant cast, a range of 30 yards, a 30 sec cooldown and effects that last 10 sec. When cast it interrupts spellcasting. The client files the whole spell under the interrupted mechanic.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the WoW Forever beta client, build 1.60.1.70532. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
