Flamestrike

Tooltip

Calls down a pillar of fire, burning all enemies within the area for 60 Fire damage and an additional 44 Fire damage over 8 sec. Only one Flamestrike can be active per Mage at a time.

How it works

Each cast of Flamestrike costs 195 Mana. Casting it triggers a 1.5 sec global cooldown.

Flamestrike is built from 3 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is School Damage (effect type 2). Its base value is 60. It scales with 0.157 times spell power. Its area radius is 5 yards.
  2. Effect 2 is Create Area Effect (effect type 179). Its area radius is 5 yards.
  3. Effect 3 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 226. It ticks every 2 sec, 4 times over the full 8 sec.

What it does

Flamestrike is a Fire spell with a 3 sec cast, a range of 30 yards and effects that last 8 sec. When cast it deals Fire damage (base value 60) in a 5 yard radius, has a Create Area Effect effect in a 5 yard radius and applies an aura every 2 sec.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the WoW Forever beta client, build 1.60.1.70532. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
