Rake

Tooltip

Rake the target for 250 damage and an additional 500 damage over 15 sec.

How it works

Casting it triggers a 1 sec global cooldown. Its aura procs every time its trigger condition is met.

Rake is built from 2 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is School Damage (effect type 2). Its base value is 250.
  2. Effect 2 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 3. Its base value is 100 per tick. It ticks every 3 sec, 5 times over the full 15 sec (500 base in total).

What it does

Rake is a Physical spell with an instant cast, a range of 5 yards and effects that last 15 sec. When cast it deals Physical damage (base value 250) and applies an aura every 3 sec. The client files the whole spell under the bleeding mechanic. It stacks up to 100 times.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the WoW Forever beta client, build 1.60.1.70532. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
