Adamant Vaults

I could not find Adamant Vaults anywhere, none of the portal instances inside Torghast matched. I thought it was a daily/weekly thing like the torments or offensives.

I then realized that you have to spend 100 research on "The Adamant Vaults" from the "Box of Many Things" inside the Torghast main room (before going up to the portals).

Still no portal.

Then one of my guildies clued me in. Adamant vaults is actually a continuation of any perfect run of any of the 6 main chambers (NOT Twisting Corridors or The Jailer's Gauntlets).

The entrance is INSIDE those 6 chambers. If you have a "Flawless Run" on one of those six, the exit portal will be surrounded in a red hue, and that is the entry point to the Adamant Vaults.

Adamant Vaults is accessible if you have unlocked the Adamant Vaults perk in your Box of Many Things. It costs 100 Tower Knowledge.
(Note: If you are in a group, then only ONE person needs this perk enabled)
To access the Adamant Vaults, you must complete a Layer 9 or higher Torghast run with a score of 200 points or more (Also called a 'flawless' clear).
You'll get a message in the chat window informing you that the portal to the Adamant Vaults has opened, which will consist of 2 extra floors.
The normal exit portal on Floor 5 will be replaced with a suitably scary red one.

For those in DF wanting to grind out Vaults for Tmogs/achieves/pets/mounts, there are a few things you need to know.
Once you reach the Vaults;
- the NPC broker on the higher levels has tmogs for 1k Phantasma (instead of 300), its a real bad feeling getting up there and not having enough
- there is an achievement after killing the vault boss for finishing the run with +1k phantasma
- once you reach the vaults, your score no longer matters so feel free to skip trash and pickup any buffs that you want

other notes;
- when you clear one of the wings to 16, the rest become unlocked too (if you never pushed torghast you will need to climb up the layers 1 at a time)
- kill all rare elites for achieves
- get the addon All the Things to be sure you got everything
