Aquatic Apparitions

Note before starting: I tried my very best to not include store bought pets, TCG pets, pets that you have to get a specific breed, and very hard to get pets. For a few fights I did have to use pets with a specific breed because I was spending hours trying to perfect a strat and it just wasn't working without a certain breed. Also, a lot of the Shadowlands fights don't have rigid movesets like previous expansions did. For a lot of these new fights, you have to be a bit more flexible. Use these strats as a guideline :) Please feel free to send me a message in-game at Gabrielle-Whisperwind. I do not usually check the comments because I have *literally* thousands of posts and I will most definitely miss a question, or any suggestions on tweaking a strat.

Addons I definitely recommend:
Battle Pet BreedID - helps you determine which breed your pet is!
Rematch - changes the Pet Journal UI and adds SO much for you for sorting, adds a leveling pet queue, etc. There's seriously a lot. My favorite is that it lets you save teams!
PetTracker - Shows you the cooldowns of the enemy team. VERY IMPORTANT. Also shows you trainers on your map. For some reason not all of them are listed in the basic WoW UI.

For Caregiver Maximillian I combined three strategies (found on his wowhead page) as none of the laid out strategies worked for me. (I combined users Vaugh's with Snold's and JonGhost52's so shout out to them for this combined strategy!)

I used a P/P Inland Croaker (2,1,1), a Hydraling (2,1,1), and a P/P Slimy Fangtooth (1,1,1)

Start with Croaker and - Call Blizzard, Ice Tomb, Ice lance, Ice Lance and first enemy pet dies when hit with the Ice Tomb. One Ice Lance to the second enemy pet and your Inland Croaker dies.

Bring in your Hydraling and use Shell Armor, then Call Lightning, then Tail Slap twice and the second enemy pet dies. If your damage isn't high enough and the enemy pet doesn't die after two Tail Slaps you must restart since the enemy pet will heal at this point if it kills your Hydraling. Assuming the second enemy pet does die, use Pass and your Hydraling dies to the third enemy pet.

Your Slimy Fangtooth comes in and you use Phase Shift to avoid Lift-Off. Then use Moonfire, followed by Ooze Touch till the third enemy pet is dead.

I found that if at any point you get crit you must restart. And again, if your Hydraling doesn't do enough damage with two Tail Slaps to kill off the second enemy pet, you must restart. This strategy is RNG based but has worked for me several times as of 9.2.5, and is the only way I've been able to win against Caregiver Maximillian with the aquatic pets I have. Good luck! Aquatic Apparitions vs Resilient Survivors (Sylla)
- Also gives you progress towards Battle in the Shadowlands using all level 25 pets when Resilient Survivors is active.

Strategy:
Starting with Zangar Crawler,
1. Rip
2. Blood in the Water
3. Rip/Pass; Zangar Crawler dies (if you used a crocodile, you can Surge before you die)
4. Swap in Emperor Crab
5. Surge till Ash dies
6. Whirlpool
7. Surge
8. Healing Wave
9. Surge till Emperor Crab dies
10. Shell Shield when Magical Crawdad enters
11. Surge till Fang dies
12. Surge till Swarm casts Blinding Poison
13. Wish
14. Continue Surge, keeping Shell Shield up (probably unnecessary, as Magical Crawdad ended the fight at almost full health)

*Substitutions for Zangar Crawler (needs to have Rip and Blood in the Water): Coralback Fiddler, Fen Crab, Frostshell Pincher, Ironclaw Scuttler, Kelp Scuttler, or a crocodile (Chuck, Muckbreath, Snarly, Toothy - 1/1/2).

**Substitutions for Emperor Crab (with Surge, Healing Wave, and Whirlpool): Strand Crab, Shore Crab, Spirebound Crab, Strand Crawler, Shore Crawler, or Sparkleshell Sandcrawler.
