Remember that this achievement can’t be won if you have 25 pets; only if you’ve caught 25 of them in battle. So collect all the poor quality pets you want then abandon them for rares at a later time and you can get this achievement in no time. It took me a while to get it just because I was aiming for rares instead of just taking the chance to get pets no matter their rarity.
Most of the pets I captured were in the Elwynn Forest, Westfall, Duskwood, Dun Morogh, and Redridge Mountains region.

This is so wrong, you're supposed to capture 25 battle pets, not collecting them.
