You can buy the wolpertinger's tankard from the vendor, get the achievement and then just vendor the pet back for a full refund.
In Brewfest 2012, Eu Server players can not have the quest to complete this achievement. Instead of that players need to buy the [item=32233] from [npc=23710] with a price of 200 Brewfest Prize Tokens.
