Had decent success with this team:

[npc=68845] P/P (1/2/2)
[npc=7546] S/S (1/2/1)

I usually started with Bronze Whelping and cast Crystal Prison.
I had trouble with pets faster than Bronze Whelping.

Reached most victories with:
[npc=118060] 1/1/2
[npc=21055] 2/2/2 S/S
Yu'la, Broodling of Yu'lon 1/1/2

Starting with Temporal Anomaly really gives certain advantage in most cases, and Yu'la is usually a lot trouble for your opponent. Good luck!

For this achievement I used.

Nexus Whepling (PS) 1,2,2 start most of the time faster
Nexus Whepling (PP) 1,2,2
Nether Faerie Dragon 1,2,2

Arca Storm and Mana Surge will do the job,

Nether Faerie handy against birds and life exchange

Of course you have to be lucky. You can use 3 nexus Whepling but I prefered the Faerie,
