A team of 3 [npc=68846]s takes down almost anything if you can get the full combination done. I earned the achievement by accident after winning 8/10 matches with this team, then a couple more.
Frost Shock, Deep Freeze, Takedown > Dead.
Team I used to moderate success:

[npc=85667] (1/1/1)
[npc=71033] (1/1/2)I usually opened with Fiendish Imp and cast Nether Gate.
I only ran into consistent trouble with undead pets.
