Yeah. I've been catching a huge amount of flak for doing this achievement. I'll admit, I'm not terribly sensitive to who is around me or what level they are; I just go in, kill until complete, turn around and leave. We have hundreds (if not thousands) of quests to go through before the Loremaster and Seeker titles... If I stopped to let that level 10 slowly kill the quest mobs it would take me 4 hours to get through 10 quests. This isn't to say, either, that I go in and kill race a lvl 30. I kill a mob, loot it, move on. Whatever the low level can tag and kill is theirs and I help them with their kill, heal them, and buff them.

I will say this however, it is usually an extremely short time that I have to genocide X mob or Y mob, so in the end it's a relatively minor offense to the lowbies. Further, in the true start zones, mob spawn times are so fast it doesn't even matter who is killing them.

Plus, if I see someone about to start a "kill x# of mobs" quest I always invite them to group so they get credit, as well as pass on all loot to them. You'd be surprised, however, how many time my attempt at being nice gets a "%$#@ Off" response. I dunno, I would have loved some high level help back in the day when I was first coming up.

To me, the primary argument which most lowbies have against us loremasters is that their questing is more important then ours. I don't like that argument, but I can see its genus. I am an achievement junkie, it's what I do in game. I've done then powerlevel to max, get the tier, get the pvp sets, max the professions bit for three years. That, and I realize it's minor sacrilege to say this but, that pattern bores me to death now. Achievements were, imo, the best thing Blizz could have done to revitalize old school content. So, to me, saying that just because I'm getting rep, quest completions, or whatever instead of experience I have less "right" to do a quest just doesn't follow.

And, to the lower levels, if you think questing is frustrating with the 4 or 5 people on a realm that are doing the Loremaster Ach, go try and level past 20 on a PvP server. You'll be in tears apparently.
