Q: How do you avoid static cling in real life?
A: Bounce
The answer to this Achievement is not timing or anything like that. All you do is spam your jump button during and after the cast. In other words "Bounce" to avoid Static Cling. I realized the answer to this achievement while doing my laundry. So far I have successfully avoided static cling 5 times in a row using this method.

Completely avoid the Static Cling effect during the Asaad encounter in the Vortex Pinnacle on Heroic Difficulty.

For anyone under the age of 35, the title of this achievement references the chorus of the song "FM" by Steely Dan.
Throughout the fight, Asaad will randomly cast Static Cling. Just before the cast time is finished, jump off the ground and you will avoid the root. Then simply move into the 'safe zones' to avoid the storms and repeat the process.
Note: This is an INDIVIDUAL achievement. If one person fails the rest of the group can still get it!
