Taming the World

So for the last month, I have been stuck on this achievement. 39/40.

Sadly, Jeremy Feasel and the four Pandaren Spirit Tamers do not count towards this achievement.

Many people have told me just to get the achievement on a character of the opposing faction. I didn't want to, so I held out hoping that some day a new pet battle master would be put in the game.

As you know, these quests are account bound. But I always figured Horde could only complete the Horde pet battle quests, and Alliance could only complete the Alliance pet battle quests. I have finally decided to test this theory.

*Today I hopped on my Alliance character and accepted all of the battle pet quests from the trainer in Stormwind, Audrey Burnhep (She is standing near the small lake, North/East of the Dwarven District).
I then went back on to my Horde character, flew down to Elwynn Forest and was able to battle Julia Stevens for the alliance pet battle quest Julia, The Pet Tamer.
As soon as I won, the achievement Taming The World popped up on my screen. Eeeeeek!
I can confirm that, as a Horde, you can even turn this quest into her when it's completed. This should work for Alliance as well.

For Alliance doing this.. Make a Horde character and accept the pet battle quests in Orgrimmar from Varzok (He stands behind the flight master at the top of Orgrimmar. Take the elevator and you'll be able to find him quick).
He will give you the quest Zunta, The Pet Tamer.
Hop back onto your Alliance character, fly to Durotar to defeat Zunta and you should be able to turn the quest in to him after.

I thought I would share this, it was very helpful for me and I know many others are stuck on this achievement.
I was told that you need to be at least level five, to pick up these quests on the opposite faction as you (As long as you have completed the basic starter quests on any other character).
*Edit* Someone has confirmed though, that there is no level requirement! Don't bother leveling a character just to pick up these quests. Just simply create a toon, log in, and make a run for it to Orgrimmar or Stormwind.

I have been doing the rest of the quests in my free time as well, and you can turn them all in once completed as well. It will automatically pop up when finished.
As for dailys, I am not sure yet if you can complete the dailys for the opposing faction. Will confirm this for you guys soon!

DONT fly around looking for the 40/40 if you're 39/40.... Its designed to mess with your head.

You need to make a char of the opposing faction and fight the first pet trainer you can.

(I was alliance, made a hunter, got him to level 6, ran to the guy near org, 2x lvl 2 pets, beat him, got achieve)

I've looked around on this, seems the consensus is that you do in fact need to have both a horde and alliance toon to complete this.
