Cheese Strat to Trivialize Reverse Races:

This will certainly be fixed. I'm sorry if you're reading this too late.

1. Choose Normal Course.
2. BEFORE the countdown begins, dismount.
3. When the countdown finishes, the NPC will become interactable again.
4. Choose Reverse Course. An additional set of rings will appear.
5. Once countdown finishes, do the Normal course set of rings.

Completing the Normal Course rewards credit for the Reverse Course. The timer on Normal is much more forgiving.

Protip: Using the Bronze Timepiece to restart doesn't reset your progress on the Normal course. You can restart just before the end, fly through the last few rings, and get a comically low time.

Update: This method seemed not to work for some races, however relogging reportedly fixed the issue.

If you're struggling with the new reverse tracks, remember: when flying upwards, Skyward Ascent usually is faster than Surge Forward aiming to yhe sky.
