Waiting for Gerdo

To do this achievement, you need to kill the boss after disabling the 5 signal beacons.

To do so, you must

1) Do not click any beacons before starting the boss. If you do so you need to reset the instance.

2) You need to clear most of the trash more importantly, every trash mob around the beacons.

3) As you pull the boss, you can start dpsing him

4) After around 10 seconds, he will do a spell called [spell=207806]. When he does so he will spawn 5 adds (1 from each beacon). The tank should pop cooldowns because he will get hammered.

5) After you kill the 5 adds, you need to turn off every beacon before killing the boss. I suggest sending one dps to do all 5 of them.

6) After all the beacons are disabled, you can kill the boss.

A tip is to stun the adds. Also if you can counterspell them before they cast [spell=215204], you can also dispel it off your teammates

Easy Solo Achievement for Pet Classes Level 120+ and Beyond...

0. This Achievement works even if the World Quests aren't up for the next achievement: 'Dropping Some Eaves' to work.

1. Mythic Difficulty. (yeah, yeah, I know it's apparently possible in Heroic--Blizzard may change this at any time so do Mythic anyway, it's easy.)

2. Clear the Trash in the entire area leading up to the first boss.

3. Do NOT allow the Sentries to get to the Beacons once you begin to fight them, kill them ASAP.

4. To make them easier to find later, I marked all Five Arcane Beacons, starting with the Skull, then Cross, then Ice Cube, etc.

5. Begin Fight, Misdirect to Pet/Keep Boss Aggro on Pet, bring Boss Health down to 70%

6. Boss will Signal, kill the trash.

7. Deactivate the Beacons. Keep your pet with aggro on Boss in viewing range, so it doesn't despawn.

8. Leave the Beacon at 32.5, 17.2 for last.

9. When getting to the Beacon that you saw first (the one furthest away from the boss at the start), keep the boss on the other side of the bridge leading up to that Beacon. The first bridge is fine to cross, but the second, Boss should stay on that other side and not cross that second bridge.

10. My pet despawned at one point, because I got too far, but it wasn't the end of the world, I was able to whistle it back into position without any issues.

11. Finally, once the first four beacons are disabled, head to the beacon that I told you to save for last at 32.5, 17.2

12. Bring the boss back to his original starting position, or at least very close to it, so he doesn't evade.

13. Disable the Final Beacon.

14. Nuke the Boss.

15. ?

16. Profit. Achievement Completed.

To solo this, run him back to his normal spot after dropping the fifth beacon. Otherwise he'll evade.
