With Open Arms (25 player)

The exact damage required on the right arm to break people free from Stone Grip under the current patch is 404,870. This was deduced from a WorldOfLogs custom external code parse.

Did this today on 25 man, it's not as easy as it seems. We DPS'ed the first three grips out of the arms, taking the right hand down to roughly 30% in the process. We found that it takes 20% of the hand's HP to make it let go of the targets. After the first three grips, we had our healers heal the people in the grip until they were crushed lifeless, this seemed to reduce the grip intervals. We soul-stoned as many druids as we could. Battle-Rezzes and Ankhs were all used, and we still finished with about 12/25 alive. We hit bloodlust at 95% to maximise the number of people to benefit from the buff.

From my previous experience with his gripping people, you could free people previously via a paladin's bubble or a priest's guardian spirit. This, however, doesn't seem to be working any longer.
