Midnight's Edge: Patch 12.2 Eclipse adds Midnight's first legendary weapon, a caster dagger

Blizzard announced on X that Patch 12.2, Eclipse, brings Midnight's first legendary weapon: Midnight's Edge, a caster dagger. Its legendary questline begins once players finish the Worldcore raid.

Eclipse is Midnight's third major patch and includes Season 3. It is the update in which players confront Xal'atath directly, as shown in the opening ceremony cinematic of the Harbinger's army before the World Core.

The last legendary weapons in World of Warcraft were Dragonflight's Fyr'alath the Dreamrender and Nasz'uro, the Unbound Legacy. Blizzard has not given a release date for Eclipse.
