World of Warcraft

Blizzard delayed the start of WoW: Forever early name reservations on October 27, 2026, citing technical difficulties in a Battle.net launcher notice. EU players could reserve names from about 12:40 PM PDT; NA login opened around 1:05 PM PDT, with queues and disconnects reported.

Blizzard showed a notice in the Battle.net launcher on October 27, 2026 saying the start of early name reservations for World of Warcraft: Forever was delayed because of technical difficulties. No new time was given in the notice.

Wowhead reported that EU players could reserve names from about 12:40 PM PDT, and that NA players were able to log in and reserve names from about 1:05 PM PDT, though many were facing queues and then instant disconnects.

The schedule Blizzard published in [Claim Your World of Warcraft: Forever Character Names](https://news.blizzard.com/en-us/article/24303866/claim-your-world-of-warcraft-forever-character-names) set start times of October 27 at 18:00 CET (Europe) and 1:00 p.m. PDT (North America), and October 28 at 07:00 KST (Korea) and 07:00 CST (Taiwan). Early reservations run through November 3.

Early reservation is open to players who pre-purchased the Skyborne Heroic Pack, Skyborne Epic Pack or the limited-time Warcraft Forever Collection. Eligible players can create and reserve names for up to three characters across all Rulesets. WoW: Forever launches November 4.

The delay and the later status updates come from Wowhead's reporting; the schedule and eligibility come from Blizzard.
