The WoW schedule is out: two What's Next panels on Saturday, Housing and Hardcore on Sunday

Blizzard has laid out a two-day World of Warcraft program for BlizzCon 2026. Saturday opens with the Opening Ceremony at 10:30 a.m. PDT (18:30 BST), followed by two What's Next panels in which the development team previews the next chapter of Azeroth, including new adventures, features and updates.

Saturday also includes a look at how Blizzard artists build a cutscene, from storyboards and performance through animation, lighting and polish, plus a Developers x Creators Showcase and BlizzCon Community Night.

Sunday is the deep dive day. It begins with a World of Warcraft: Deep Dive at 10:00 a.m. PDT, followed by a Housing panel, a world building session, an art design panel, and a design deep dive. A dedicated Hardcore: What's Next panel follows at 4:15 p.m. PDT (00:15 BST), covering Hardcore design, community stories and lessons from surviving Azeroth with one life.

Johanna Faries, President of Blizzard, closes BlizzCon 2026 from the main stage at 5:20 p.m. PDT with reflections on the weekend. A live Le Sserafim performance follows at 6:00 p.m. PDT, celebrating the group's collaboration with Overwatch. It is available only to in-person attendees and will not be livestreamed.

Esports

Both days carry esports programming. Saturday features the MDI 2026 Grand Finals, with Dignitas facing Big Lucky and Liquid facing Mandatory for places in the final, and a championship match closing the day. Warcraft III returns in the Classic Cup, with champions TeD and ToD in a legacy match and a 2v2 entertainment match alongside creator Ahmpy and Warcraft III developer Brad Chan.

Sunday belongs to the Arena World Championship. Quarterfinal and semifinal matches run through the day, leading to the AWC 2026 Grand Finals championship match and a trophy ceremony at 6:30 p.m. PDT.

Watch BlizzCon 2026 Live from Home

Blizzard will stream select programming live for everyone, with coverage varying by channel. A Viewership Guide explains how and where to watch the Opening Ceremony, major panels and esports. Musical performances and some other elements are exclusive to in-person attendees at the Anaheim Convention Center.

World of Warcraft streamers will broadcast live from the show floor and from their own channels across both days, Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13. Attendees can meet World of Warcraft streamers at meet and greet sessions in Hall A. Saturday sessions run at 3:45, 4:15, 4:45, 5:30, 6:00 and 6:45 p.m. PDT. Sunday sessions run at 12:30, 1:15, 1:45 and 2:30 p.m. PDT.

Earn World of Warcraft Rewards

Viewers can earn rewards by watching eligible Warcraft streams on Twitch or the official World of Warcraft YouTube channel during the show. Attendees who link their BlizzCon Pass to a Battle.net account no later than September 18, 2026 can claim all available rewards. Rewards and eligibility vary by game, stream and platform.

AWC and MDI Grand Finals

The Arena World Championship and Mythic Dungeon Invitational Grand Finals run live from the convention on September 12 and 13, on the BlizzCon Stage in person and on the official World of Warcraft Twitch and YouTube channels. Teams compete for the BlizzCon trophy and a share of a $600,000 combined prize pool.

World of Warcraft BlizzCon Bundle and Merchandise
