Again it is a bit RNG dependant so if you don't like that then feel free to downrate this comment to oblivion.11/22/2020, 9.0.2 edit: I helped a friend doing this battle and realized that my strategy isn't working anymore since the Hunting Party debuff only lasts 1 turn now while it used to lasts 2, making the previous turn 5 impossible to achieve anymore. I found another way with a strategy as "nag" as the previous one with little changes and with no rng, except being crit, i edit over the previous comment and take advantage of that to correct some english mistakes.
My apologies to all people that were let down by my previous strategy.
I do hope that editing a comment that is as old as this one won't be an issue.

Beat Algalon Pet Battle on 10/30/16 with two pets.
Found the only strat online from Perks N Peeves when she downed it on the PTR. Nice job and thanks!
I followed suit but was having a lot of trouble with pet 2 and 3 dying. So here's what I found out and how I adjusted it to get my win. Take note, it's RNG dependent so don't give up. That said, it took one time when I decided NOT to switch out pet 2 for pet 3.
Pets:
1. Macabre Marionette - 121
2. Emerald Proto-Whelp - 112
3. Infested Bear Cub - 122 (never pulled him out and I suggest you don't either so I guess you could bring a leveling pet)I followed her strat on Comet using Macabre Marionette: siphon life, dead man's party and Macabre maraca twice in that order. (if your pet dies before Comet, start the encounter over)
Bring out your Emerald Proto-Whelp against Cosmos: use emerald dream, ancient blessing (in that order) and use them on cooldown. Keeping him up with as much health as possible is the key to this encounter. Use Breath in-between healing spells until Cosmos dies.
When Constellatius comes in do not swap out pets, keep Emerald Proto-Whelp out, and just continue on with the healing. You can pass in-between healing spells as there's no need to damage Constellatius as he will simply heal himself up. The key is to keep your pet healed and ride out the 15 turns of Apocalypse because he will die and in turn, you will win. My whelp had 50% health at the end.

I had a really hard time with this one after many strategies using Zandalari Anklerender, Emerald Proto-Whelp, and a random third. This strategy worked perfectly with no hiccups for me. -
