Arthas

The Culling of Stratholme will be the grunt's perspective of the sixth mission in Warcraft III's Human campaign, called The Culling.

After the Prophet Medivh attempts to warn Arthas that the Scourge are undefeatable and that he must flee west to Kalimdor, Arthas turns him down in anger, never to abandon his homeland, and proceeds to the city of Stratholme, a cozy city in northern Lordaeron. When he encounters Uther Lightbringer, leader of the Knights of the Silver Hand, he orders Uther to follow him into Stratholme to cleanse the city of any plague that might infect it, lest it fall to the fate of the rest of Lordaeron. Uther challenges Arthas' authority, and Arthas relieves him; he then begins to slaughter the citizens of the city.

All this time Arthas battles Mal'ganis, a Dreadlord attempting to mold the fate of the young prince for the Dark Lord, Ner'zhul, the Lich King. Of course, when the Culling is over, Stratholme is burning in the flames and blood of its own apocalypse.

What the Infinite Dragonflight wishes to alter of Arthas' fate remains to be seen.
