When not pet-battling, he is trying to teach his pets to fly by encouraging them to jump off the cliff nearby. With a turkey, a chicken and a penguin, he has it work cut out for him. Made me chuckle.

If you're lucky enough to have a sprite darter hatchling, a level 25 can solo all 3 of them.
Sprite Darter Hatchling is a dragon with magic and flying abilities, so it takes reduced damage from Gobbles and Dinner, while doing strong damage. For Warble, it'll take normal damage, but Slicing Wind is a Flying attack and at lvl 25, the Darter Hatchling will go first for the extra damage.
IMO, it's one of the best pets to use against flying.
Another pet that can solo this encounter is [npc=68850]. Flying abilities(them) are weak against dragons(him) and his main attack [petability=525] is magic which is strong against flyers. Keep [petability=597] up and he takes very little damage the whole fight. Good fight for leveling a pet if you're in the neighborhood.
