Fel Reaver of his little zone in Frostfire, stomps around looking scary

Kited him as a level 92 hunter with Cheetah on, gave junk for drops and even less experience.

Took FOREVER to kill, finally got some help when he was low on health.

Melees for about 43-45k on mail, stops to do a stomp if a pet or player is in melee.

Killed him solo on my boomkin.... took forever, gave me nothing, waste of time.

This fight is all about timing. Gom basically has two abilities: His circular attack [spell=144596] And his conal attack [spell=145938].

He does his two abilities in a cycle of one circular attack followed by four cones. Note that he will not necessarily begin the fight with the circular attack. But once he does the first circle, he is now on this cycle of one circle, followed by four cones.

When he begins the first cone, move 90 degrees to one of his sides. He will do the second cone and you just move 90 degrees again. If you go around him in a circle, while hitting him, you will end up in the same orientation as when you started the fight. When he does the circular attack, just walk straight away from him, and allow him to finish the ability. Then walk right back into him and let him start his cycle again. One circle followed by four cones.

With this strategy, I soloed him with a level 95 Blood DK. It probably took me 25 minutes. He dropped two gray items and gave around 650 XP.
