Tiny Poacher, Tiny Animals is randomly available in Highmountain (41.91, 35.97) and only visible if you've unlocked World Quests.
Rewards will vary. Family Familiar at the bottom of post.

Grixis Tinypop will have the following team (all level 25 epics):

1. [npc=99158]
aquatic
[pet-ability=233]
[pet-ability=572]
[pet-ability=706]
2. [npc=99156]
critter
[pet-ability=112]
[pet-ability=162]
[pet-ability=568]
3. [npc=99151]
mechanical
[pet-ability=116]
[pet-ability=1041]
[pet-ability=1025]

World Quest Team:

  • [npc=61877] (1,1,1) | [npc=68656] (2,2,2) | [npc=15710] (1,1,1)

vs. Gulp
  • [pet-ability=162]
  • [pet-ability=420] x2
  • [pet-ability=170] (up)
  • [pet-ability=170] (hit)
    (if necessary) [pet-ability=420]
vs. Egcellent
  • [pet-ability=420] until Owl dies
  • Bring in Giant Bone Spider
  • Conditional: use [pet-ability=780] the round after Eg's [pet-ability=568], otherwise...
  • [pet-ability=380]
  • [pet-ability=212] (if this is dodged with FD, cast again after you Grip Eg back)
  • [pet-ability=380] until Eg dies
vs. Red Wire
  • Swap to Snowman*
  • [pet-ability=206]
  • [pet-ability=120]
  • [pet-ability=477] until [pet-ability=1025]
  • Spider comes back in
*Note: Armageddon made it hard to test the last bit of this fight as much as I wanted, but Snowman was very strong in all attempts. If you have a very different experience, consider a Sproutling with a heal and [pet-ability=1343] (you can search for abilities in the pet journal).

Grixis is part of Family Familiar

Aquatic: Aquatic Acquiescence
- Team: [npc=26050] (1,1,2) (alts) | [npc=26056] (1,1,2) (alts) | [npc=29726] (2,2,1) (alts)
Strategy: here | Credit: hobbesmarcus

Beast: Best of the Beasts
- Team: [npc=111421] (2,1,1) | [npc=54491] (2,1,2) (alts) | [npc=93142] (1,2,2)
Owl kitty is new but relatively easy to get once you've started Nightfallen rep. See comment here for more info. There aren't a lot of Beasts with multiple attacks strong vs. Aquatic or Mechanicals at this time.

Spoiler
vs. Gulp
  • [pet-ability=1398], then [pet-ability=184] until Gulp dies (goal is 1-2, can take up to 3 rounds)

vs. Egcellent
  • [pet-ability=492]
  • Swap to Monkey
  • [pet-ability=354] (charge)
  • [pet-ability=354] (throw)
If Eg still alive, Pass (will Feign Death).

vs. Red Wire
  • [pet-ability=492], then [pet-ability=347] until Monkey dies (1-2)
  • Bring in Netherpup
  • [pet-ability=362] + [pet-ability=792] should push Wire to revive, usually a final [pet-ability=110] will finish.

If necessary, clean up with Owl Kitty.

Critter: Mousing Around
- Team: [npc=23258] (2,1,2) | [npc=22943] (2,1,2) | [npc=98077] (1,2,2)
Strategy: here | Credit: Alucarde (recommended by eeedge)
[npc=33219] has the same moveset as Egbert, so I substituted it to decent effect. I did not try subbing [npc=61328] or [npc=61386] for Crispin, but they might serve as alternatives.

Dragonkin: Dragons!
- Team: [npc=68845] (1,2,2) | [npc=21055] (1,2,2) (alts) | [npc=21064] (1,1,2) (alts)
Breeds didn't seem to matter (my Red Dragonhawk was only level 20, even) - but just in case: P/S Nexus, B/B Golden, P/S Red.

Spoiler
vs. Gulp
  • [pet-ability=589]
  • [pet-ability=489]

vs. Egcellent
  • [pet-ability=589] (probably die first)
  • Bring in Golden Dragonhawk
  • [pet-ability=429] until [pet-ability=568]

vs. Red Wire
  • [pet-ability=503]
  • [pet-ability=179]
  • [pet-ability=503] (if alive / as needed by Big Red to mop up)

vs. Eg (part deux)
  • [pet-ability=429] (if alive)
  • Bring in Red Dragonhawk
  • [pet-ability=492]
  • [pet-ability=429] until Eg dies

Elemental: Ragnaros, Watch and Learn
- Team: [npc=69794] (1,2,2) | [npc=36871] (1,1,2) | [npc=15710] (1,1,1)
All pets have a single breed and no substitutes.

Spoiler
vs. Gulp
  • [pet-ability=906]
  • [pet-ability=803]
  • [pet-ability=423]
  • [pet-ability=803]

vs. Egcellent
  • Swap to Core Hound Pup
  • [pet-ability=362]
  • [pet-ability=159]
  • If necessary: Pass/[pet-ability=119] (Eg should Feign Death)

vs. Red Wire
  • [pet-ability=362] if possible, otherwise [pet-ability=119] until Pup dies
  • Bring in Tiny Snowman
  • [pet-ability=206]
  • [pet-ability=120]
  • [pet-ability=477] until Wire dies or kills itself ([pet-ability=1025])

If necessary, clean up with Razortooth: [pet-ability=803] vs. Eg, [pet-ability=906] vs. Wire.

Flying: Flock Together
- Team: [npc=81431] (2,2,2) + 2 [pet-ability=239]

Humanoid: Murlocs, Harpies, and Wolvar, Oh My!

  • Pyregelys (link) developed a strong team with [npc=68659] (1,1,1) and [npc=68846] (1,2,2). When used these, I never got to the 3rd pet ([npc=85009]), so don't feel like you need the Blizzcon pet to use this strat, just another humanoid. [npc=90206], [npc=90214], [npc=62564] have undead attacks, imps and winter helpers have elemental attacks.

Magic: Master of Magic

  • Team: [npc=61877] (1,1,1) | [npc=61883] (2,1,1) | [npc=46898] (2,2,2) (alts)

Edit: If you have [npc=88692] & [npc=90202], the strat Nimtrux left in the comments (here) looks like it would also be a good approach. Heck, [npc=90202] (1,1,1) would be a good sub for the lantern, too.

SpoilerNeed to test again, could have a little RNG with Eg/Wire (my Jade Owl might've done better than an "average" fight).

vs. Gulp
  • [pet-ability=162]
  • [pet-ability=420] x2
  • [pet-ability=170] (up)
  • [pet-ability=170] (hit)
    (if necessary) [pet-ability=420]

vs. Egcellent
  • [pet-ability=420] until Owl dies
  • Bring in Sapphire Cub

  • [pet-ability=535] until Eg uses [pet-ability=568]

vs. Red Wire
  • [pet-ability=621] until Cub dies (~2)
  • Bring in Lantern
  • [pet-ability=113] until [pet-ability=1025]

vs. Eg (part deux)
  • [pet-ability=463]
  • [pet-ability=461]
  • [pet-ability=113] as needed

Mechanical: Roboteer
- Team: [npc=64899] (2,2,2) | [npc=68841] (2,1,1) | [npc=48609] (2,1,1)
Strategy: here | Credit: Keepertje8 (consider Borelia's augmentation to the MPD's attacks (here))

Undead: The Lil' Necromancer
- Team: [npc=61826] (2,2,1) | [npc=61758] (2,2,1) | [npc=68656] (2,2,1)
I tested P/S, H/H, B/B Blighthawks and H/P, H/H Bear. Spider has one breed.
- Tamed H/H Bear for addt'l testing based on commentor's feedback and success % remained consistent. Double H/H for Hawk+Bear was the weakest team I tested, but it still had ~90% success rate.

Spoiler
vs. Gulp
  • [pet-ability=170]
  • [pet-ability=420] until Frog dies (goal is 3)
(if you are transformed by [pet-ability=233], restart)

vs. Egcellent
  • Continue [pet-ability=420] until Undead round & then [pet-ability=654]
  • Bring in Bear, base atks on Eg's HP:
    - 100%: [pet-ability=347] | 50% (~793 HP): [pet-ability=247] | else: [pet-ability=345]
Eg will [pet-ability=568] at around 50% HP

vs. Red Wire
  • [pet-ability=247] finishes remaining round(s)
  • [pet-ability=347]
  • [pet-ability=345]
  • [pet-ability=347] through Bear's undead round (2-3)
  • Bring in Spider
  • [pet-ability=380] until Wire is <300 HP (goal is 2), then [pet-ability=383]
Wire will bring [pet-ability=1025] (& die)

When Eg comes back in, just [pet-ability=380] a few times to finish the fight (2-3 due to another Feign).

How I did it for Murlocs, Harpies, and Wolvar, Oh My!:

Pet 1: [npc=68659] ([pet-ability=406], [pet-ability=453], [pet-ability=490]).
Pet 2: [npc=68846] ([pet-ability=202], [pet-ability=416], [pet-ability=481]).
Pet 3: [npc=85009] ([pet-ability=210], [pet-ability=901], [pet-ability=1535]).

This strategy can probably be made a lot shorter (I ended up with 25 rounds), but it worked for me.

Turns (not exact):

  1. [npc=68659] uses [pet-ability=453].

  2. [npc=68659] uses [pet-ability=406] as a filler (pass if you are turned by [pet-ability=233]) until [npc=99158] is dead.

  3. [npc=99156] will be the enemy active pet.

  4. [npc=68659] uses [pet-ability=490] to dodge [npc=99156]'s [pet-ability=162]. (Not sure if this is necessary.)

  5. [npc=68659] uses [pet-ability=453] and [pet-ability=406] as a filler.

  6. At some point, [npc=99156] will use [pet-ability=568] and will be swapped for [npc=99151], but keep doing your rotation until you die and bring in [npc=68846].

  7. [npc=68846] uses [pet-ability=416] on [npc=99151].

  8. [npc=68846] uses [pet-ability=481] on [npc=99151], stunning it.

  9. [npc=99151] will be swapped again for [npc=99156].

  10. Keep using [pet-ability=202] on [npc=99156] until he dies.

  11. When [npc=99151] comes in again, keep using [pet-ability=416] and [pet-ability=481] and use [pet-ability=202] as filler until your [npc=68846] dies.

  12. Only one pet left: [npc=85009]. Simply use [pet-ability=901] and fill with [pet-ability=210].

Forget all other mentions here! (for non-achi completion at least)
Teroclaw Hatchling (2,2,2) SOLOED the pat tamer easily. Might have had some RNG luck (Egcellent's FD and no crits) but if you start with this pet the other 2 can be anything else. They are only backup anyway...
