This elite area is annoying when you first get there.
At least it was this way for me. But when you understand how things work, it gets easier and you actually start to like this zone. You have to get used to it, because there is 3 world quests in this area. Some of them much harder then 1 rare kill)

Tips:

  • You don't need to kill anyone there (you probably can, but it is a waste of time)

  • Leystone Hoofplates speed boosts are nice, but you don't really need them if you can draw a circle in your mind around detector mobs and you should always be on the border of this immaginary circle. Never try to rush, just wait

  • Paladins can take [item=130899] in order hall

  • This can also help: Stonehide Leather Barding

General info:
Rare NPC in legion have almost instant respawn time (1-2 min max)
On first kill they drop [currency=1220] and sometimes [item=138839]
[item=138839] can be buffed with [item=139390]

I CC'd one Loyal Sycophant and then fought Miasu right where she stands to avoid the pat. Interrupt what you can, whether through a spell or stun except when she's casting Celerity Zone. Obviously she'll benefit from it, but so will you -- especially if you're a class or spec that depends on haste. Remember to use self-heals (and/or health potion) and damage-reduction abilities.

I did this without a combat ally assigned since I didn't want the hassle of traveling there and back after the frustration that had been [npc=111649], so I don't know if having one for this fight would cause a proximity-pull of the elite pat.

Level and Map Tracking

The game data tunes Miasu for level 45, Legion content.

The map marks it with vignette 1,559, which the client hides once hidden tracking quest 43793 is complete. In game, /run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(43793)) prints true when that quest is flagged for your character.
