TheWoWDBAfter over 10 attemps I think I managed to actually understand what is going on here.
This is how you avoid getting mind controlled:
Make sure to be on a clean zone on the ground once he finishes his Mind Break cast. A light spawns showing the clean zones, once a player stands in the light it dissapears but the ground is still clean (even if the light is no longer there) and standing in it should make you avoid getting mind controlled.

Does not seem to be mind controlling right now. Perhaps a bug?
This is the key. The damage on this fight is very low, but if you get charmed while soloing it, the fight instantly ends. Set focus on the boss so that you don't lose it among all the adds. Then ignore everything but the "Mind Break" cast. Run to a clean zone and stay there whenever he casts it. You'll need to do this 5-6 times with dps levels in 8.2.5.
