Did it solo on mythic with level 80 guardian druid

You can ignore most mechanics like e.g. [spell=307831].

Phase 1

  • kill [npc=158367] until [spell=309046] appears (a big dark cloudy circle on the ground)

  • enter [spell=309046]

  • remember landing position

  • kill [npc=158376]

  • click your body at landing position

  • damage boss until shielded again

  • repeat until stage 2

Other phases

I didn't have a plan, but it was easy.
I can't really remember any special mechanics.
I tried to evade some of the effects.
But the effects seem to be rather harmless.
Or I was just lucky to evade the most dangerous ones.
There were some portals I clicked on, and some adds, that needed to be killed to progress.
But mostly I just damaged the boss and killed it finally.

The reason people like me don't raid regularly is because of overly complex fights exactly like this.(this fight reminds me of the queen Azshara fight(which I also never beat)) as both fights are over complicated and i find it more frustrating than fun, in my opinion)

I know for the hard core raiders they may disagree but for old school player such as myself it really is. I really don't want feel forced to take notes, watch videos and study every mechanic like a "test" prior to playing this game. I know some do enjoy that but I personally don't find that "fun", if i wanted a test I'd go back to school.

There are so many mechanics and buttons that must be pushed at the perfect times or you wipe.. this includes portals, cleansing bar maintenance, selected group separation, add priority. dodging puddles on ground, cleansing ect... the list of stuff required to beat this boss is just too much for "regular players".

Some may enjoy this but many don't.

This is how this fight went on LFR:

We wait for a group to form .... we wipe due to mechanics.... 10 people rage quit.. wait 10 more minute to fill.... we try again, but again we wipe ..... approx 10 more quit the raid..... we wait roughly 10 minutes for group to re-fill...we wipe due to mechanics again.... 10 people leave again..... wait 10 more minute to fill.... we try again, but again we wipe ..... 10 more leave..... we wait 10 minutes for group to fill.. this literally happened for about 20 attempts and a few full hours, before i just gave up and rage quit as well. No n'zoth for me, ill skip this expansion agian.

Now don't get me wrong its not THAT complex but not much fun when we cant beat the boss. We can't beat the boss because the mechanics are too dependent on the vast majority of people actually understanding the entire fight all the mechanics and all the multiple phases perfectly.

I wish blizzard would stop making content like this and focus on making the game "fun" for standard players instead of "complicated" for hardcore players.

At the very least tone down the LFR n'zoth because wow, its too much.

After defeating N'zoth, the Corrupter the ghost of G'huun appears.
N'zoth: Step-brother? Is it... over?
G'huun oozes comforting salivia on N'zoth's head.
G'huun: Oou vwahuHn ag'xig shfk zuq!
N'zoth: I see... only morally grey darkness... before me.
N'zoth's many eyeballs roll back and he collaspes dead in his hole. G'huun fills his mouth with bacterial and fungal infections and gently covers him in the hole with them.
G'huun: Ywaq ongg an'qov i lal halahs nuq.
G'huun slithers, facing Azshara.
G'huun: lol kek bye
G'huun regurgitates a dagger before turning into a giant boil and bursting its content all over Azshara's face. Azshara picks Xal'atath up and examines it.
Azshara: The weight of such a burden... it must be mine. For there is no other to—
Shadow Priest PC appears
Shadow Priest PC: AZSHARA! You hold a favorite waifu in your hands, Naga-fu... but it is not your own.
Azshara: <name>... magnificent...
Shadow Priest PC: Sargeras' sword... sealed my fate. The world of waifus can no longer comfort me. Give me back my waifu, Naga'fu..
Azshara turns her back on Shadow Priest PC about to slither away.
Azshara: NO, I AM QUEEN. I cannot.
Shadow Priest PC: DO IT NAGA-FU! You and these sexy waifu have your own fantasies to fulfill. But the spiked curvy knifu of tentacles... is mine.
Azshara: She will be forgotten--.
Shadow Priest PC: She MUST be forgotten Naga-fu, If the world is to live free from the lust of the Knifu – they must never know what was done here today.
Azshara nods, the chamber of N'zoth tremors. There is a flash of light and Shadow Priest PC's eyes are glowing with purple hearts.
Shadow Priest PC: Tell them only that Knifu was destroyed...
Shadow Priest PC: and that <name> died with her.
Shadow Priest PC: NOW GO. LEAVE THIS PLACE – AND NEV---
*A wild Sylvanas appears*
Sylvanas Windrunner: Santiago.
*Shadow Priest PC is pulled by barbed chains into the Maw and Azshara and Knifu are shot with a gun*
