I picked one of these Scimitar's up just as a 'Battle-Trophy' from my annoying time spent in the Troll area's of the Ghostlands.
I can confirm that these do drop from the Primitive Chests in and around the troll huts in Ghostlands.
I got this from a [object=181665] after 5 minutes of farming. Prior to getting this item, I also looted the Amani Sacrificial Dagger 5 minutes earlier in the same area. Happy Farming and Good Luck!
