This is the best level 1 rogue twink weapon in the game due to its slow speed. Slow speed = higher chance to proc per hit for enchants (where the majority of your damage comes from). For a rogue the enchants can proc frrom both sinister strike and eviscerate giving you the highest potential damage output.
The only exception to this is if you have a full dodge build level 1 rogue. In that case the http://www.wowhead.com/?item=18610 with +15agil enchant may be a better option.

Fixed a few spelling mistakes.
Mark me down all you like but this is tried and tested. This sword in a stamina set using fiery and lifesteal enchants for damage is the best combination. Use the http://www.wowhead.com/?item=18610 with +15agil and +agil enchants to helm/boots instead of hp/stamina if you want a dodge set. Against a caster the extra hp and burst damage from the enchants is far more useful. Against melee class or hunter use the full agility set. I have a level 1 twink gnome rogue parked outside of the crossroads with a few hundred kills now. Another couple thousand to go for the PVP trinket and she is complete.

also, http://www.wowhead.com/?item=44096 (heirloom item) is better than this at lvl 1 for a twink rogue, beacause of a good proc, and 11-19 dmg i believe.
