The reason WoWHead says "4" under the reagent listing is the same reason that the mote transformation from TBC was "wrong." LW/Skinners don't get a bonus, as others have said; every character in the game requires 5 to make 1. The reason WoWHead is "wrong" is the way the spell is stored in the database. When you "use" 1 leather scrap, it looks to "consume" 4 additional scraps. If there are 4 additional scraps, it consumes them, and the 5th is transformed to a full piece of leather. If there aren't 4 to consume, the spell fails and nothnig happens. Thus, the "reagents" for 1 "casting" of this
Interesting note: creating Borean Leather from these scraps doesn't pop you out of stealth.
