I think the real question isn't which you should get, but which can you get. Hand of Eternity can be obtain thru farming and gold. Meanwhile, the mace from the Maiden and Price in KZ requires a solid 10-men group.

Primal Nethers are not hard to get. They 100% drop from the end boss of any heroic, and often drop from the end bosses of any 70 non-heroic like Shattered Halls, etc.
It's not the best in the game. This is the best entry-level mace, but Prince Malchezaar drops something better, or at least it's better for some classes; paladins and shamans might not like it because they strongly prefer mana/5 to spirit: Light's Justice
