Finely-Tuned Throat Needler

Look at the size of the arrow! It looks large enough to decapitate someone, let alone just tune their throat. How do you tune a throat anyway?

Very carefully.

It doesn't matter how they're tuned, but it's important to use the proper Needler for the job. You wouldn't want to use this on poorly-tuned throats. Especially don't use it on throats that haven't been tuned at all - you'd want to use a Needler designed for untuned throats, instead. Keep in mind that this Needler doesn't do any tuning at all. There is an altogether different instrument for that. I believe it's called something like a "Finely-Needled Throat Tuner".

About [i][b]damn time[/b][/i] Engineering gets some decent BoE crafts. AH here I come!

On my server, due to the number of these on the AH and the relative number that are actually needed, it's actually more cost effective to disenchant these and sell the shards. So, if you're looking to make a profit from engineering, you won't find it with this item.

I am pretty sure that fine-tuned is describing the crossbow, not the throats it is going to pierce.

I cannot speak for all realms currently, but as of the time of this posting this is one of the cheapest, easiest to obtain ranged weapons as a Hunter that's ilvl 333 before instances and heroics. The other 333 ranged weapons are:

If you've got the cash to burn then sure, go for the Ravenheart and have a bow instead of crossbow. But, if you're looking for that upgrade from your questing bow to your 85 weapon, I'd recommend this as the place to start...just don't buy the mats yourself and get it crafted. Unless the price of the crossbow would exceed that of five Hardened Elementium Bars and the other assorted materials on your server, you're wasting money buying the materials beforehand and getting them crafted.

When I made that post the BBBB had Agility and Crit. It had its stats changed very recently; original post updated to reflect that.

Cost of Throat Needler: 200g Cost of one Hardened Elementium Bar: also 200g. Aren't player-made economies great?

Even worse today - I bought mine for 95 gold. The scope was 2 times more expensive.

Even better - I just bought one for 25g. I'm serious. I thought this was some REALLY common drop until I updated my warrior in Profiler and clicked on it for the heck of it.

I think its a refrence to one of ninja jubeis enemies on the japanimation ninja scroll.

I made one of these today, thought it should be a good price for my efforts ! 40g in the auction house, about 15 of them listed in total, big disappointment.. Should be called - cheaply bought engineering dis-appointer
