Recipe: Elixir of Dream Vision

Given how common this item -appears- to be, it would be a mistake to spend more than 50g for it. On Darrowmere (relatively new) it is up on the AH for 400 g. Save your money, it'll be cheaper.

Is this an In-Game Item? I know it was available in the original beta, but it was removed. Did they bring it back for TBC?

I really doubt this drops from every old world boss guaranteed... I have been checking the AH for a very long time looking and waiting for this damn thing. I know you said in 3.3 but every day I check the AH for this and never see it. Finally today I found it on there for 75 silver, and its the first time I have ever seen it. I'm guessing so - I'm pretty certain it was used in a recent video exploring the inside of "The Eye" in Tempest Keep (a 25 man instance)

I don't believe it was ever removed, as I've been making these for a long time. When I need better stealth and longer duration than Eye of Kilrogg offers I brew one of these up. Even now I carry purple lotus with me just for this.

I have this recipe. It is very rare. The potion does just what it says, but after two minutes your dream ends and you wake up at the spot where your dream started.

It just dropped for me in Hinterlands. It definetly exists. Let's see how much I can get for it :)

This thing is for people who have a good imagination. And if you do, you will realize that it has a lot of good uses. I'm afraid you need to stop and think a second if you fail to see a good use for it at first glance. I can assure you it has numerous possibilities.

Mine was contained in a Southsea Pirate box, which isn't listed there. I don't know if that matters, but there are a lot of them around the pirate camp in Tanaris.

Definately one of the rarest items in game >.< I am lucky to have one, I was browsing aclhemy recipes when someone put it in, when I refreshed AH it was there, for just 10g! I haven't found much use for it yet, but it's cool to have, among with lunar festival firework recipes, snowmaster, steam tonk and others xD

day before Xmas, patch 2.3 got my dream vision recipe for just 2.5 gold, I don't know if they didn't know how hard it is to get one but, when I just looked it up, very happy with the elixir. likely going to use these instead of eye of kilrogg when I'm bored in bgs.

only downside i can see is, your dream vision can't jump, makes it a little annoying trying to get some places

I just found this item from a Dunemaul Enforcer. Now that was something unexpected. Sold for 100g in AH (probably could have gotten more though). For those wondering this potion lets you go out of your body and explore the area for 2 minutes. So its a pretty useful potion to have.

I just found one of these last night while running on one of my alts. It dropped from the big chest at the end boss in Uldaman. Yay!

I just found one in a Reinforced Steel Lockbox. I was on my rogue alt leveling lock picking and i picked this box and there it was. So they can come from lock boxes i guess.

I also got mine from a lockbox, can't remember which one though since it was years ago. I do believe I got it in Felwood, before the shattering.

Its random on the loot table because its a world drop. World drop - Able to drop from any mob on the server of the apropriate level. Impossible to predict where or when it will drop next.

I saw it on AH for 95s but had never heard of it so I had a look on here. I'm so glad I got it for cheap I don't think whoever put it up had heard of it either so must have thought it was just crap lol..

Asked my guild if it was worth anything but only a couple people were online and weren't sure.

Checked it out here and put it on the AH for 100g. Sold for 320g on Hydraxis!

I suspect the price is heading up for WotLK as people can scout out the new instances.

No of course not since you are not there. But you get to see the world if safety!

Thats a stupid use for it... how far can you get in 2 mins with slowfall and water walking? Not very far. If you can, just mount up and get there in 1/2 the time.

Eh, not quite. Could be useful for exploring zones that belong to the opposite faction for achievements on a PVP server, like Tirisfal or Elwynn. Or, regardless or server type, getting into the starting zone of an opposite faction, like Deathknell or Northshire for that achievement credit, if you're a lower level and can't survive the hits from the guards.

I can't believe this! I was looking at recipes last night and this caught my eye thought oh well I'll never get hold of that. Farming mithril and Purple lotus in Jintha' Alor today and it dropped from a chest on the top level. I'm one very happy bunny :))

Scouted the AH today for recipes i was missing and this one popped up for an amazingly............ Wait for it................ 3g BO! Couldn't believe my very eyes, needless to say i bought it right away :-) Trying to figure rather to resell it or use it myself at the moment.

Ever since No Man's Land came into effect back in 2.3, wall walking, and the hunter's long vision ability were scrapped in this case, one word : Hyjal. Devs. leave trails behind. This potion says drink me all over. If I got it I would seriously think about taking up alchemy for a huge profit

I've moved across so many servers, I always manage to pick one of these up. I have 4 recipes atm.

This just dropped from Onyxia for me. I hope it's worth what everyone has said. I'm anxious to see how high i can sell it for. I'm an alchemist myself but not a completionist. 450 skill. Anyone know if it would be more profitable to use the recipe and sell the potions or sell the recipe?

This just dropped off of a Centipaar Wasp in Tanaris. I think i'm going to change my profession from leatherworking to alchemy.

Seriously, this thing is now rare enough to command a high price. Just sold mine for 850g; keep on listing it and some [s]sucker[/s] completionist will eventually give in and buy it.

I found mine in a Mithril Lockbox while farming meats to level cooking. I didn't know what it was worth 'till I checked here, almost vendored it. I got 600 gold from it. =]

On my realm, this is worth about 7kg, as nobody has seen it since 2007. I bought it last night (from some unaware person) for 2g. Anyway, I learned the recipe, and it works great for PvP.
