This is the Blood Elf rogue's main starting weapon. Awesome looking starting item that matches all the level 5 red blood elf gear sold by Faraden Thelryn or Jainthess Thelryn. I don't know why it says this item is not available to players. I recommend selling this with red Blood Elf gear on the neutral AH for VERY VERY high prices. The alliance is very slow to catch on so just be patient. Eventually they will catch on... maybe...

In Shadowlands my rogue did not start out with the Recruit's Shortsword. Possibly removed.
You can't get this item from Cata. Only on AH
