I found a limited supply on Endora Moorehead <Magical Goods>, in the "Sisters Sorcerous" shop outside the Silver Enclave in Dalaran.

It is for sale for 2375g. Yes, two thousand three hundred seventy five gold. That's probably with a Friendly discount there. Yikes!

The last thing a mage needs is to turn their enemy into a cat.

They are gonna prowl and shred the guts out of the mage, and feral charge the mage if the mage thinks about Frost Nova + Blinking.

In other words, its 2500g without any discounts.. 2500g x .95 = 2375g

Everytime I shackle, polymorph / turn (or any other cc spells I have missed) since wrath that break on damage, someone always goes over and breaks the damn thing, except this one..

I have polymorphed both monsters and players in plain sight with this back cat version and it is rarely broken by others on my team directly, probably because like a gnome it is hard to see once done so the trigger happy people franticlly click spam something else.

Honest truth I have cast this at flagged horde in the middle of goldshire and everyone there has continued their rp and duels as usual, oblivious to an enemy in the area until it wears off normally unless they had already aggroed a guard that broke it early.

TLDR: If you are someone who likes to use polymorph the way we used to then this is worth the gold, if not then it goes nice with a harley and a queldelar.

Endora Moorehead is a reference to Samantha's mother, on Bewitched. The name is a hybrid of the actress' name (Agnes Moorehead) and the character's name (Endora).

Yeah...I was so excited that I bought and read it without looking at the pirce. And then I was very sad...but at least I have a fun polymorph!

I wonder. If somebody was polymorphed into a black cat, and somebody had Stinker out, would he chase the polymorphed cat around like other black cats? That would be a double-helping of humble pie in a PvP setting, if you ask me. Especially if it was a ganker that got busted.

And now in the 3.1 during the Noblegarden Event you may obtain Tome of Polymorph: Rabbit so you may add a furry little carrot nibbler to your collection. This on available by purchasing the Tome from the Noblegarden vendor. Who may be located in any starting town. Ie: Goldshire, Razor Hill.

The Bear Cub polymorph does not exist in the game, as one GM confirmed, and will probably not be coming out now that they released the mini-pet.

Why would the small pet existing change anything? There's a penguin small pet and they still added the penguin glyph.

I went to buy this for my Gnome mage, but my BE paladin was exalted with the Kirin Tor, so I figured I would save 500G and buy it on my paladin and send of over the neutral AH.

DO NOT DO THIS. The Auction deposit is around 925 gold (Yes I am not kidding). So giving that to the person I was using to put it up would be cheaper then selling it back, so I was forced to do that. Essentially it cost 3k gold if you are exalted and plan to send it cross faction >.<

Would of been cheaper to buy it on my mage who was neutral (Or was it friendly?, either way it would be cheaper).

On a positive note, my mage has every polymorph (That is obtainable) now, so my /castrandom polymorph macro is quite fun to use.

If only Blizz would bring back the Turkey, Serpent, and Polar Bear Cub (And make Penguin a spell instead of a glyph). Then I would have a polymorph zoo macro.

Respawn timer seems to be under 6 hours.

I managed to buy this item after about 30 mins of someone else buying. She seems to restock it fairly quickly.

This sort of thing was more helpful back in the big 40-man raid days. You'd have enough mages doing so much poly-ing that it helped them keep track of which one was their responsibility. But I have to admit, having a "black" polymorph creature is probably just a bad idea overall.

Sadly they nerfed the description. It used to refer to the victim "Pussyfooting around incapacitated." but now it's exactly the same as all other polymorphs.

This is one of the Mage Class Books that existed long before Legion, though many new Class Books have been added since Legion's pre-patch. These Class Books have similar effects to traditional glyph's. This puts a new Ability in your Spellbook.

Your deposit is returned for a successful auction, btw. So you just gave someone 925g ;) Also, reducing the duration of the auction reduces the deposit. @neogia: It doesn't matter what he prices the auction at, the deposit is calculated from the vendor value of the item. On the neutral AH, this can be as high as 300% of vendor value for a 48hr auction.

I was under the impression that cosmetic changes were going to be put under minor glyphs from now on.

This is not a cosmetic change, this is a whole new spell, Much like the Polymorph Pig or Polymorph Turtle options.

Actually... this tome becomes very handy. The cat is smaller so it is harder to target, so less chance that some annoying warlock will put dots on the polymorphed one.

This is located on Dalaran's main floor (not underbelly as map shows). You must be 25 to use it.

It's not always up, so you have to keep checking every now and then.

For any returning players, like myself, yes you're gonna need to buy it again.
Despite me purchasing this back in Mists, I suddenly do not have this..... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Thankfully, its not expensive, you just have to wait for it to spawn. Figured I'd share for anyone that hasn't played in a LONG time.
