Plan an Eversong Woods Herbalism Route
Check the game version, compare Midnight herb prices, and measure a repeatable gathering session before committing to a long farm.

An Eversong Woods farming plan starts with the game version. The Burning Crusade zone and Midnight's version share a name, but an old map does not establish where Midnight herbs spawn. Open your in-game map and profession journal before following a route. Use the Midnight guide hub to check the current expansion context.
Use the trial and recording table below to compare routes on your character. Keep your starting point, equipment and session length consistent so differences in travel time and herb yield are easier to spot.
Choose a material and a stopping point
If you are gathering for a recipe, write down the missing quantity and required quality. If you are gathering to sell, check the matching item record and its price timestamp first. Tranquility Bloom, Argentleaf, Azeroot, Mana Lily and Sanguithorn have separate records; a price comparison is not evidence that all of them occur along a particular route.
Review the current Herbalism specializations in game before spending Knowledge. Record the tools and gathering bonuses you use. Changing the build, route and consumables together makes it difficult to tell which change helped.
Run a short, repeatable trial
- Choose a starting landmark you can find again. Empty or record the relevant bag stacks, and note the start time.
- Follow connected terrain you can travel safely. Record the nodes you actually encounter; do not treat an unmarked zone map as a spawn map.
- Return to your starting point. Include landing, combat, detours and return travel in the elapsed time.
- Repeat the same circuit. If the second pass differs, record the difference rather than assuming nodes respawn once per lap.
Keep the route small enough to compare two passes in one sitting. A route that requires frequent backtracking may suit a different mount or character better; your own travel time is more useful than an unsourced claim about the best class.
Record herbs, rare drops and sales separately

For a provisional inventory estimate, multiply each stack by its matching quoted unit price, then subtract consumable costs. Label it an estimate. For actual earnings, use completed sale proceeds after fees and costs. Divide by the full hours spent, and keep unusually lucky sessions separate when comparing routes.

Decide whether another lap is worthwhile
For crafting, stop when you have the required materials or when buying the shortfall is preferable to another trip. For selling, compare several sessions and completed sales before expanding your stock. Reduce the route if detours dominate the run, or try another area while keeping the same timing method.
Keep the result with the date, game version, equipment and route notes. Recheck after a patch or a substantial price change instead of treating a past result as permanent.
