Desolation Battlegear is a mail armor set of 5 pieces covering Head, Shoulder, Chest, Hands and Legs.

That leaves Neck, Back, Wrist, Waist, Feet, Finger and Trinket to be filled from outside the set, 7 of the twelve armor slots.

Every piece is item level 32 and needs character level 27.

4 of the 5 pieces carry sockets, 9 in total.

Every piece binds when it is picked up, so no part of this set can be traded or bought from another player.

The client files the set under The Burning Crusade.

Sold to a vendor those 5 pieces return 226g, and the single piece worth most at a vendor is Greaves of Desolation at 56g.

The bonuses come in at 2 and 4 pieces, out of the 5 pieces this set can put on a character at once.

Every bonus is live once 4 pieces are on, which leaves 1 slot free for gear from outside the set without losing anything.
