Absolutely! I just encountered a Felwood quest reward with the same model, [item=65328], which I'll be keeping for possible transmog. To complete the look, I wanted to see how it would look enchanted with Mending (lots of green leaves) but unfortunately it's too low level to receive that enchant :( Wish there were a lower level version of the enchant.

It has the same Damage, Speed (and DPS) of [url=www.wowhead.com/item=12974]The Black Knight[/url], which also was a Main Hand back then.

With some of the restrictions of transmog being lifted in 5.2 it will be possible to dual-wield these. I just found a new favorite weapon for my Shaman, Death Knight, and Rogue.
