NOTE: [item=131811] DID NOT WORK for me when I jumped off Dalaran (error'd with "Wrong Zone"). After landing on the water below whilst on my Water Strider I promptly died, and then spent the next 10 minutes trying to get to the island over water but constantly hitting fatigue and dying.
Save yourself the pain - just buy a goblin glider and jump/glide from Dalaran. I made it right to the flight path in one glide.
[item=139773] worked well for jumping from Dalaran south to the Eye of Azshara to do the daily there.
