If your ally alt is trash like mine, and the last guy is smashing you pretty hard, T'paartos is immortal and will slowly melee the final boss down.
By trash I mean <800 ilvl.

If you're like me in the very specific scenario of dying during the last boss fight, and don't have the Vindicaar unlocked on this toon, and have no sense of direction... After you die it'll teleport you back to the start of the scenario. But T'paartos will slowly kill the boss on his own while you wander around trying to find which hole you went into.
I never did find where the last entrance was, but if you go into the cave in the top right corner of the map (roughly coords 88, 36) there's a beacon inside. Clicking that takes you back into the Vindicaar and you can complete the quest. Just make sure you click it after T'paartos kills the last boss (the quest will complete).
T'paartos, the character, made me *so happy*. On *so many* levels. Both because he was a joke, and yet if you actually go through the whole thing, you really *feel* for him. He actually has a whole background story that you get to watch and learn!
I have never been more disappointed when I found out that he's not one of your heroes. And I'll be even sadder if he doesn't turn up in the future as a character.
"T'PAARTOS!"
