The fearsome demon, Immolanth, led a Legion army that conquered and eventually ruled a distant nexus world.
... nexus? What, like, from Heroes of the Storm? THAT nexus?
Does this mean all the Blizzard games exist in a shared universe, or am I looking too much into this?
Had to kill this guy 3 times before I got credit for the quest. Like someone else stated, standing on the area he spawns and hitting him before NPCs may have been the trick.

Description
The fearsome demon, Immolanth, led a Legion army that conquered and eventually ruled a distant nexus world. Somehow, the Wardens imprisoned him, then kept him locked up in the chamber to our left. He is contained, but not for long. The demon's power is a valuable prize to any demon hunter who can defeat him. Whoever can do so will gain power beyond imagining. I believe that person could be you, {name}.
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.
Getting there
From the turn-in, the objective areas lie:
- Objective area
Straight-line distances in yards between the quest’s own map markers (QuestPOI) and the client’s flight-point positions (TaxiNodes); flight paths and terrain are not modelled.

Where this quest fits

- Grand Theft Felbat
You heard what Maiev said. We need to get out of here. There is an elevator shaft at the far end of these caverns. Let us make our way there.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Beam Me Up
To the east is an intricate prison chamber designed to contain the beholder, Glazer. It began malfunctioning shortly after the breach. You will need to rotate the mirrors in the room to focus an energy beam onto the creature. Otherwise, we cannot break through Glazer's impenetrable shield. Hurry.
