TheWoWDBSmall sample size, but it looks like this will only ever pick one of the four base Awakened items (fire, earth, wind, frost) and never the more rare ones (Order, Decay, Ire). So I just bought 50 of each and used this on cd while doing other parts of the quest. I got:

Buy these from AH or gather: 150 Awakened Fires; 100 Awakened Earth; 50 Awakened Order; 200 Resonant Crystal; Prototype Order Vellum
Then find an enchanter to group up with in the same party, then in your inventory, click on the scroll "Shalasar's Notes on Sophic Magic" to teach the recipe (only good for 30 min).
Last, go to the Crafting Orders NPC, and put in a request for "Shalasar's Sopohic Vellum" from your Enchanter that you taught the recipe to.

Description
I know of a sage who can help temper Fyr'alath. Shalasar Glimmerdusk is an expert in intellectual matters, often pondering theories for controlling volatile magics. Few understand sophic matters as well as she does. Seek her guidance in managing shadowflame. I suspect her solution may include a sprinkle of Chromatic Dust!
