Spelling error in the quest text. "I cannot bare to tell you"...should be bear. Silly Blizzard. Spellcheck doesn't always catch grammarcheck! :)
In fact they did not. "Bare" is pretty specifically about lack of covering, whereas "bear" has a multitude of meanings, including "bear the weight", and this use is a variant of that meaning.
