You are credited any kills where you have done some damage, even if it's the opposite faction doing the killing, and even after death.

So tag them with a dot, or get in at least one hit on the mob if you see someone else killing these. Even in death, if you provoke the opposite faction, will you get credited ;)

Description

Of all of our tasks here in Hyjal, the most pressing is simple: destroy these invaders. The very nature of fire is that it is all-consuming. Lower your defense for just a moment and it will destroy everything in sight. Kill any of the fiery invaders you find. Every enemy defeated purchases more time for Hyjal.
