It is kinda dumb because this quest-line is required to get the Loremaster achievement for this zone. You should be able to get the achievement without being forced to get just the right thing at this spot, they should have added that as a side note when you go to choose. Because of this they had to put in a fix and confused a lot of people. Someone failed to think this one through.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Power of the GenesaurGorgrond · Level 15-40

Commander, you now have the Will of the Genesaur along with the genesis water and enough seeds to grow an army. Not to mention the lives of the dwarves you saved. I would call this mission a success. I can help the dwarves mop up their operation here and see what we can salvage.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Seedbearers of Bad NewsGorgrond · Level 15-40

When these seedbearers are slain their seeds survive. From them spring new seedbearers, not over years, but hours. Leaving their remains here would soon cause the outpost to be overrun. We have learned that burning their remains prevents this from happening.
